Burger King has just announced that the highly popular Angry Whopper is making a comeback and is coming back as part of a limited-time test held exclusively in Ohio starting on September 28, 2023.
In fact, the test is particularly held in one city only in Ohio, and that is being Columbus.
As many remember, the Angry Whopper was one of Burger King’s most popular items yet and had many customers from all around wanting to eat it more and more. However, it hasn’t been back on the menu for quite some time now.
Burger King Angry Whopper features a quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty layered with spicy onion tanglers, melty pepper jack cheese, pickled jalapenos, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, and angry sauce all on a toasted sesame seed bun.
Now since Burger King hasn’t said anything else on if it is going to be expanding the test market or bringing back the item nationwide, everyone from all around is waiting to see what exactly is going to happen.
Here’s to hoping it makes it back on the menu for everyone to try~
