Dairy Queen Texas has just announced that they are bringing in the heat by debuting the brand new Carolina Reaper Tacos for everyone to try.
The new tacos will officially be on the menu starting today and can be found at all participating locations in Texas for a limited time only.
As you know, Carolina Reapers are widely considered to be one of the hottest peppers that the world has ever seen. With an average of 1,640,000 SHU on the Scoville Scale, it will leave anybody trying them feeling the burn. And because of this, Dairy Queen Texas has decided to incorporate them into their tacos for that additional flavor and heat.
Dairy Queen Texas’s new Carolina Reaper Tacos will feature a crispy corn shell that is packed with Monterey Jack Cheese that has been infused with Carolina Reapers, seasoned ground beef, lettuce and tomatoes. It is also topped with some refreshing cilantro lime crema sauce to help give a cool sensation and balance the heat.
Because of the high heat levels from the Carolina Reaper Tacos, Dairy Queen Texas has suggested that customers should pair it with a side of their iconic Blizzard Treats, Floats, Shakes, Sundaes or anything else that is cooling and refreshing.
Additionally, Dairy Queen Texas is offering a special promotion where customers who use the Dairy Queen Texas Mobile App can get a Free Small Blizzard Treat of their choice when they make a purchase of three Carolina Reaper Tacos. This promotion is available until March 3, 2024 and users will get a coupon to redeem from March 4, 2024 to March 10, 2024.
