If you have never visited a Jack in the Box location, then on your first trip or even your first order, you will immediately get to see that they have such a large variety of options to pick from.

You can have your classic entrées from burgers to chicken sandwiches and even their yearly fish sandwich they brought back this month. Not only the entrees, but you have dessert items, shakes, and cold beverages as well.

However, one item that many folks and I personally keep a lookout for when ordering at fast food restaurants are mozzarella sticks!

Does Jack in the Box have mozzarella sticks?

Many of us have questioned if Jack in the Box serves mozzarella sticks, which is exactly what we will discuss in this article. We will visit one of the participating locations to see if they carry the item, how much it costs, how it tastes, and ultimately if it is worth it.

So with that said, let us get started.

If you like mozzarella sticks as much as I do, or have just wanted to try it out for the first time, then you will be happy to hear that yes, Jack in the Box does indeed serve mozzarella sticks!

At the moment you can get the mozzarella sticks two ways at participating Jack in the Box locations. One way is just by ordering a single order of 4 piece mozzarella sticks.

You can also purchase the mozzarella sticks as part of the Fan Fav Box, which includes 6 mozzarella sticks, 13 tiny tacos, and a medium order of curly fries.

Regardless of which option you use for the mozzarella sticks, Jack in the Box will always provide you with a single marinara sauce apparently.

So if the marinara sauce is crucial to you, then you better make sure to ask for additional sauce.

How Much Do Mozzarella Sticks At Jack in the Box Cost?

Now if you’re wondering how much the mozzarella sticks cost, then you’ll have to know that the mozzarella sticks are available in two options. One way is to purchase them by themselves as a single four piece order which comes out to $3.50 plus tax.

You can also get Jack in the Box’s Fan Fav Box with mozzarella sticks which features 6 mozzarella sticks along with a medium order of curly fries, and 13 tiny tacos for a total price of $10 plus tax.

It all really just comes down to what you are craving, because if you’re really just wanting the mozzarella sticks, then a single four piece order seems to be the best value.

The cost for the single four piece might seem like it is a bit high since it’s almost a dollar per cheese stick, but that is what majority of the other places charge as well. Some places I’ve seen charge as high as an absurd six dollars, whereas in some places they are available for as low as $1.50.

At the same time if you are going with a group where one person is pretty big on eating fries or tacos, then at the end of the day you can still enjoy your six mozzarella sticks.

All I know is that if you’re craving them, you’re gonna find a way to get them.

What Does Jack in the Box’s Mozzarella Sticks Taste Like?

Mozzarella sticks at Jack in the Box have been touted as a highly rated item with everyone that I have spoken to, because they always rave about how good they were fresh from the fryer.

We also purchased a single four piece order of the mozzarella sticks to test those claims.

The very first bite alone proved everything to be true!

In the first bite you get a taste of the batter which has been fried to perfection as it has a great crunchy texture and the batter itself is quite thin.

I believe the batter used by Jack in the Box must have a little bit of seasoning or herbs because I could taste something additional as well.

Finally, we got to the star of the show which is the actual mozzarella cheese. Depending on how soon you eat the mozzarella sticks once they are fried, you can have a pretty amazing cheese pull experience!

It took me about 15 minutes to get home with my order which is why the cheese was slightly solidified, but it was still very warm so you still had a slight cheese pull.

The mozzarella cheese was very milky, soft, and smooth in texture. And you know we absolutely have to dip the mozzarella sticks with the marinara sauce they provide.

In my personal opinion, I feel that the marinara sauce really helps to elevate the entire tasting experience.

The tartness from the sauce, along with the fragrance of basil among other spices pairs very nicely with the milky, mozzarella cheese.

In addition to how they taste, it is so amazing to me at how stuffed they were! I have tried mozzarella sticks from multiple locations, and almost every time that final bite is just all batter. Thankfully you could see the delicious cheese in the last bite as well.

When you incorporate the marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese stick with its breading, it is almost like having your own little pizza bites.

Are Jack In The Box Mozzarella Sticks Worth It?

If we are looking at it from a tasting perspective, well, that’s a no-brainer as they are most definitely worth it.

The seasoning on the batter is on point as are the herbs and then you dunk one of these finger food delicacies in the marinara sauce…you get absolute perfection.

From the cost point of view, I can see why some folks would be on the fence for trying these out.

While paying almost a dollar per mozzarella stick does not sound like the most appealing option, it works wonders because of the convenience factor.

If you are tired from a long day or in a rush to eat where you do not have adequate time to sit down, then the mozzarella sticks are truly perfect.

Also if you just have a small craving, then it does not make sense to order a much larger item anywhere else and overeating.

Similarly if you, a group of your friends, or even parents with kids that prefer to eat a variety of items, then even the $10 box can be seen as reasonable.

With the current prices, many folks would happily order either of the two items as long as shrinkflation does not impact the overall quality of the items.

Conclusion

If you have been reading along thus far, then you know the menu at Jack in the Box’s participating locations provides consumers with 2 options for getting your hands on some delicious mozzarella sticks! While the cost may be a slight issue to some, just keep in mind that you are paying a pretty average cost and there is also the convenience factor.

Also let us not forget that these things are packed with cheese, more so than any of their local fast food chain competitors!

So if you’re ever craving for some mozzarella sticks or have family or friends that are, then Jack in the Box is definitely a place you can go visit to get your hands on some.
