El Pollo Loco has just announced that they popular Carnitas is coming back to the menu in the form of three signature dishes that customers can try.
The new dishes include the Pork Carnitas Tacos, Pork Carnitas Wet Burrito, and Pork Carnitas Stuffed Quesadilla and will be available at all participating locations nationwide for a limited time only.
Here is a description of all three signature dishes:
- Pork Carnitas Tacos: Features yellow corn-blend tortillas filled with pork carnitas, avocado salsa, cabbage, chopped cilantro, onion, and fresh avocado.
- Pork Carnitas Wet Burrito: Features a warm flour tortilla filled with pork carnitas, freshly prepared pico de gallo, savory pinto beans and sour cream; topped with green enchilada sauce, shredded cheese, and chopped cilantro.
- Pork Carnitas Stuffed Quesadilla: Features a warm flour tortilla filled with pork carnitas, fresh avocado, melted cheese, avocado salsa, and freshly prepared pico de gallo. The tortilla is then artfully folded six times, and grilled to seal in all the flavors
Currently, the price for the three new items are as follows: $8.29 for 2 Pork Carnitas Tacos, $9.99 for Pork Carnitas Wet Burrito, $9.99 for Pork Carnitas Stuffed Quesadillas.
Asides from that, El Pollo Loco is also doing a digital promotion where they are offering another 2 items that are new for customers to order.
Here is a description of the two new digital promotional items:
- Pork Carnitas Tostada: Features a combination of pork carnitas, shredded lettuce, pinto beans, rice, shredded cheese, sour cream, and freshly prepared pico de gallo in a crisp flour tostada shell. Served with creamy cilantro dressing.
- Pork Carnitas Nachos: Features a fresh tortilla chips topped with pork carnitas in a mild roasted tomato salsa, fresh guacamole, creamy queso blanco, sour cream, savory pinto beans, and freshly prepared pico de gallo.
And as for the price, currently customers can order the items for around $10.99 for the Pork Carnitas Tostada and $10.99 for the Pork Carnitas Nachos.
