KFC has just announced that it is bringing one of its most popular international items over to the states for everyone to try being the Chizza.
For those that don’t know, this item was originally released back in 2015 for the Philippines and has since made its way all across Asia as well as other countries like Spain and Mexico too.
And finally making its way to the United States, it will officially make its way to the menu starting on February 26, 2024 and can be found at all participating locations nationwide for a limited time only.
As you know, the Chizza, which is actually not a pizza, features two delicious 100% white meat Extra Crispy fried chicken filets that are topped off with some zesty marinara sauce, melted mozzarella cheese and also crisp pepperoni.
It’s basically more similar to a chicken parm than a pizza.
Because of this new item being released, KFC is even transforming one of their restaurants located on 242 E 14th St. in New York City (the Pizza Capital of the Country) into a one-of-a-kind “Chizzeria” pop up where customers are able to try the new item totally for free before anyone else. Fans wanting to get in on this experience will need to head to this location on Friday, February 23 through February 24th 1 to 9 p.m. ET to get their hands on this item.
But even if you can’t make it, the Chizza will officially be debuted nationwide starting on February 26, 2024. So fans wanting to get their hands on one will need to wait till that day or after and head to any participating location nationwide to enjoy it.
