Popeyes has just announced that they are celebrating the upcoming Lenten Season of 2024 by bringing back a variety of different seafood options for everyone to try. Some of which includes the Flounder Fish Sandwich, Shrimp Tackle Box, Popcorn Shrimp and more.
The returning items will officially be back on the menu starting today and can be found at all participating locations nationwide for a limited time only.
Here is the full line-up of seafood items returning to the menu:
- Classic Flounder Fish Sandwich: Features a sandwich made with premium Flounder, marinated in authentic Louisiana herbs & spices, dusted in their southern crispy coating and fried up to a golden brown color. It is then served inside of a warm buttery brioche bun with barrel cured pickels and Tartar Sauce.
- Spicy Flounder Fish Sandwich: Features a sandwich made with premium Flounder, marinated in authentic Louisiana herbs & spices, dusted in their southern crispy coating and fried up to a golden brown color. It is then served inside of a warm buttery brioche bun with barrel cured pickels and Spicy Mayo.
- Shrimp Tackle Box: Features 8 pieces of tender crispy butterfly shrimp that are seasoned in a traditional blend of Louisiana herbs and spices, served up crispy in their unique southern breading and is paired with Popeyes signature side & hot buttery biscuit.
- Surf & Turf: Features 4 pieces of butterfly shrimp that are seasoned in a traditional blend of Louisiana herbs and spices, served up crispy in their unique southern breading and is paired with Popeyes 2 Piece Signature Tenders, 1 side and a hot buttery biscuit.
- 1/4 lb Popcorn Shrimp Meal-Dinner: Features one-quarter pound of crispy popcorn shrimp and is paired with one regular side and a biscuit.
- 1/4 lb Popcorn Shrimp Meal-Combo: Features one-quarter pound of crispy popcorn shrimp and is paired with a regular side, small drink and a biscuit.
Now as far as the pricing goes, currently Popeyes has listed the items at a suggested price of around $5.99 for the Classic Flounder Fish Sandwich a la carte or $9.99 for the combo. The Spicy Flounder Fish Sandwich is $5.99 for a la carte or $9.99 for the combo. The Shrimp Tackle Box is $5.99 for the Dinner while the combo is $7.99. The Surf & Turf is $5.99 for the Dinner while the Combo is $7.99. The 1/4 Popcorn Shrimp Dinner is around $8.99 while the Combo is $9.69. (Price may vary depending on location)
