So Burger King has just announced that they are debuting a brand new Chicken Fries flavor being the new Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries.
Hearing this, it made me pretty excited as Burger King’s Chicken Fries are usually very good.
For those that never tried it, the Chicken Fries from Burger King are basically Chicken Nuggets shaped in the shape of a fry, but with different flavors depending on what they want to do that season. And the new Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries definitely seem to be something that I want to try.
Along this release, Burger King has also released the Ghost Pepper Whopper which was absolutely delicious. So to see them also release the Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries to pair up with it just sounds like a no brainer.
Hopefully these Chicken fries taste delicious and just as good as the Ghost Pepper Whopper.

Buying The Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries
Heading to my local Burger King, I noticed that they had signs all around the windows advertising the new Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries.
This was a good thing as it probably meant that Burger King really wanted to push this item and it must taste delicious.
I got into the drive-thru and I was the only one there so far.
So I placed my order for an 8-Piece Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries. I had the option to choose what sauce I wanted and I chose the Zesty sauce as you know that’s my favorite.
Price for the Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries was actually pretty good as it was priced at around $3.99 for the 8-Piece. The 4-Piece was $1.99 while the 12-Piece was $4.99.
I then drove to the window to pay, and from there it took around 2 minutes until I got my Chicken Fries.
And when I tell you, that Ghost Pepper smell was seeping through the box, and it was glorious.
I pulled over to the nearest parking lot and got myself ready.

What Does The Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries Look Like
I took the box out of the Burger King bag and noticed that it came in a special packaged box.
The sides of the box was Halloween themed with ghosts all around, and it also had the words “Scary Delicious” on the sides which was cool.
I then popped open the box and saw that Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries in all its glory.
There was indeed 8 pieces of Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries in the box and each one had a good amount of seasoning. I’m not sure what the seasoning is, but it looks like pepper and something else.
The Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries also came in different lengths, as some was really long while some were really short. Which was kind of a bummer as that meant sometimes you got less Chicken Fry.
But hopefully the flavor makes up for it, so lets get to tasting!
What Does The Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries Taste Like
I grabbed a Ghost Pepper Chicken Fry and took a bite out of it, and you know what, it actually wasn’t bad.
It’s basically a glorified chicken nugget just made into a fry shape, but the seasoning that Burger King used actually made it taste really good.
Outside breading was actually really crispy while inside was tender and juicy. Although I would have preferred it to have more of a stringy sensation like an actual chicken, it still was pretty tasty.
Plus, when you’re eating it, it had somewhat of a pepper feel which was nice and added to the taste.
But the most important part was the Ghost Pepper sensation, and sure enough, this Chicken Fry was spicy.
Now it wasn’t as spicy as the Ghost Pepper Whopper, but on a spice scale from 1 to 10, I would say it is a solid 6, which is decently spicy.
Like my tongue was buzzing around slightly which made eating each Chicken Fry quite fun.
I also grabbed my Zesty Sauce and opened it up to dip my Chicken Fry into it.
And I have to say, that Zesty Sauce is such a great pairing!
The Chicken Fry was already decently spicy, but the Zesty Sauce helped add onto the spice, and gave it a slight horseradish flavor while also being creamy too.
It was delicious.
I have to say, Burger King did a good job on these Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries.
How Can The Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries Be Improved
The only thing I would say on how they can improve the Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries is to probably change the meat into a REAL chicken meat. Now I know what they use is considered real chicken meat, but I want an actual fry cut from a chicken breast or thigh.
I want to feel the stringy pulls from the chicken that you would only get from a real piece of chicken, but ground up chicken made into a shape of a nugget.
I mean, the way they are making it now is decent, but it could definitely be elevated.
And also, maybe make it a bit spicier like the Ghost Pepper Whopper and it would be great.
But other than that, it was pretty good!
Overall Thoughts
At the end of the day, Burger King did a great job with these Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries.
They are being sold at a really cheap and affordable price while also having a great taste and flavor to them.
I would definitely be back for more!
