Chick-Fil-A has just released a new Chicken Sandwich for people to try.
And it is the new Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich.
From what I hear, I think Chick-Fil-A hasn’t released a new Chicken Sandwich in quite a while, so seeing this item pop up is extremely exciting news!
As you know, Chick-Fil-A has one of the best Chicken Sandwiches in the fast food game, so I am expecting this sandwich to taste absolutely delicious.
So you know I just had to make my way to Chick-Fil-A and get my hands on it!
Buying The Food
Buying the sandwich was actually easy as I never had a single problem buying a new item at Chick-Fil-A.
When they say they are debuting a new item, all the locations across the nation will always have that item in stock with no delays.
So when I pulled up in my car to order, I actually saw a sign advertising the sandwich as well.
I placed the order for the sandwich, and I also got it in the meal form so it came with a fries and a drink. The total cost was 12.29, which is a bit expensive in my opinion for a chicken sandwich meal. But I get it, times are changing and all fast foods are increasing their prices.
Anyways, it took a short 3 minutes after ordering before I got my food and it smelled absolutely delicious.
I can’t wait any longer.

What Does It Look Like
The new Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich comes in a regular Chick-Fil-A sandwich box that you would usually get when you order something like a Spicy Deluxe Sandwich.
But once I opened the box, I noticed that this sandwich was a bit different as it also had a paper diaper that held the sandwich together.
Usually when I see this paper diaper, it would mean the sandwich would probably be a bit messy to eat.
But either way, It didn’t bother me.
Taking the sandwich out of the diaper, I opened the top and saw that there was quite a few ingredients.
The new Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich features an original Chick-fil-A filet, topped with custom-made creamy pimento cheese, mild pickled jalapeños and served on a warm, toasted bun drizzled with sweet honey.
And I could see that Pimento Cheese being everywhere.
They actually gave me a good amount which I was pleasantly surprised. And was really happy too since Pimento Cheese is a Southern specialty and I absolutely loved it.
Anyways, I closed the sandwich back up and now it’s time to eat it.
What Did It Taste Like
Once I took the first bite, I was blown away.
This new Honey Pepper Pimento Sandwich was probably in my opinion, one of the best sandwiches they have ever made. If not, probably one of the best Chicken Sandwiches in the fast food game.
It was absolutely delicious in every single way.
Now before I get started, I will mention that Pimento Cheese is something that not many people are familiar with or use to. Some people hate it, some people like it. So depending on how you feel about it, you may have a different opinion.
But for me, Pimento Cheese is a wonderful ingredient to use and paired really well with the sandwich.
Immediately, I noticed a cheesy flavor that had some spices to it as well as being creamy and mild in taste. It paired well with the Fried Chicken Patty as the chicken itself gave a nice crunch with a thin batter, and was so juicy and moist.
And because there was also some honey glazed over the chicken, each bite I took, I got a nice subtle sweet taste that wasn’t too overpowering but just enough where each bite was flavorful.
Also, the spice from the Jalapenos was pretty good too.
It wasn’t too spicy, in fact on a scale from 1 to 10, I would say the spice is probably at a level 3 or 4. It was pretty weak, but did give a nice buzz on the tongue.
When you paired it all together, you got a mix of different flavors and textures working together. A bit of spice, crunch, sweet, creamy, and juicy entwining itself for that flavorful bite.
Hands down, one of the best Chicken Sandwiches I have ever had.
Now I will mention, for this review, I got the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich in the classic/regular patty. They also offer this sandwich with the spicy chicken patty or the grilled. So you can definitely take your pick and have a variety to try.
How Can It Be Improved
Now personally for me, I think they could probably add a bit more Jalapenos.
I think from what I heard is that the employees put only 3 slices of Jalapenos on the sandwich, but in my opinion if they put a bit more it would be way better.
I want to feel the heat from the Jalapenos, that spice that I crave. But at the moment, the sandwich didn’t really have any spice to it at all.
Now this may change if I got the Spicy Chicken Patty instead, so I’m not sure if that is going to make much of a different. But maybe I’ll give it a try next time.
Other than that, the sandwich is really good and not much else needs to be changed.
Overall Thoughts
At the end of the day, Chick-Fil-A hit it out of the ballpark.
The new Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich was a home run.
It was tasty, it had flavor, and that Pimento Cheese was absolutely the star of the show.
So overall, I would say if you love cheese, especially Pimento Cheese, definitely give this sandwich a try because I think you will really love it. Now if you don’t like Pimento Cheese, do try to give it a try either way since you might change your mind and actually like it as well.
But personally, I hope they make this sandwich permanent in the future as it really is pretty tasty.
