Shake Shack has just announced that they are heading into the new year of 2024 strong by debuting a brand new flavor of KOREAN BBQ Style foods for customers to try. And according to them, it will bring a “swicy” (Sweet/Spicy) type of flavor while also having some umami for taste.
The new Korean style items will officially go on the menu nationwide on Friday, January 12, 2024. It can be found at all participating locations nationwide for a limited time only. However, for those customers who have the Shake Shack Mobile App, they can actually get early access to it and enjoy it starting today on January 9, 2024.
Currently, there is going to be four different items that customers can try:
- Korean Style Fried Chicken: Features a crispy white-meat chicken breast that is coated in a spicy and sweet Gochujang glaze. It is then sprinkled with some sesame seeds and topped with white kimchi slaw using Choi’s Kimchi. All of which is put inside of a toasted potato bun.
- Korean BBQ Burger: Features a 100 percent Angus beef cheeseburger that is topped with crispy sweet onions, fresh scallions and a savory, salty Korean BBQ Sauce. It is then put inside of a warm toasted potato bun.
- Spicy Korean BBQ Fries: Features crispy crinkle cut fries that are seasoned with Kimchi seasoning and served with a side of Korean BBQ sauce for dipping.
- Spicy Korean BBQ Cheese Fries: Features crispy crinkle cut fries that is topped off with the brands cheese sauce and seasoned with Kimchi seasoning. It is then paired with a side of Korean BBQ sauce for dipping.
As for the price, currently Shake Shack is offering the new Korean-style food items at a suggested price of around $8.49 for the Korean Style Fried Chicken, $7.79 for the Korean BBQ Burger, $3.99 for the Spicy Korean BBQ Fries and also $4.99 for the Spicy Korean BBQ Cheese Fries.
Fans wanting to get their hands on the new Korean BBQ style food items like the Korean Style Fried Chicken, Korean BBQ Burger and more can do so by visiting any participating location nationwide for a limited time only starting on January 12, 2024 or if you have the app then you can go as early as today January 9, 2024.
