Sonic is getting ready for the North American Total Solar Eclipse by debuting a brand new item being the Blackout Slush Float for everyone to try.
Officially coming out on March 25, 2024, the new slush comes just in time for the Solar Eclipse which happens on April 8, 2024. And what’s great is that any fans who purchases a Blackout Slush Float will even get a FREE pair of solar eclipse viewing glasses.
Sonic’s new Blackout Slush Float features a blend of cotton candy and dragon fruit flavors while also being a black colored drink. In fact, the color is to symbolize temporary darkness during the solar eclipse. It’s also going to be topped off with some creamy white soft serve and sprinkles that are blue and purple which are galaxy-themed as well.
Fans who get this drink will literally feel as if they themselves have took a journey into outer space.
