And I know seeing that huge list of names might seem confusing at first, but it’s actually not too hard to understand. Mostly being just from looking at the list, you can basically expect Taco Bell’s Red Sauce to be somewhat equivalent to that of an enchilada sauce.
If you ever had an enchilada before from a restaurant, you’ll typically notice it being covered with some type of thick red sauce. That’s basically what Taco Bell’s Red Sauce is. It’s thick and flavorful that is full of spices that gives your mouth a little bit of a tickle with each bite.

In my local Taco Bell, the Red Sauce is currently being sold for around $0.35 cents for a small dipping cup of it. Which is actually a pretty good pricing as their dipping cups are actually pretty big in size and can definitely be used for at least 1 to 2 food items.
Not only that, but if you want to add Red Sauce into any one of Taco Bell’s menu items as a customized version, then you can also do that. And you’ll be surprised to know that the pricing to add Red Sauce to your item is actually the same as buying the Red Sauce by itself in a dipping cup.
It’s only an additional $0.35 cents!
Now that is a pretty good deal.
So as you can see, Taco Bell’s Red Sauce is a pretty affordable item to have and if you want to add it in your food items for an additional cost or just get it as a dipping cup side, then it’s definitely available for you to do so.
What Does Taco Bell’s Red Sauce Taste Like
Being as how we mentioned that Taco Bell’s Red Sauce is basically their own version of an enchilada sauce, you can definitely expect it to have similar flavors.
For instance, when you first try the sauce, you’ll notice that it’s thick and not too runny. It also has a light tomato flavor that makes you think it is tomato sauce at first but it actually isn’t. Because after a few seconds, you’ll start to notice the spices and seasonings all throughout.
A little bit of onion flavors here and some garlicy flavors over there.
Plus, you’ll also notice the heat that comes with it as well.
It’s nothing overpowering or anything, but it’s a light gentle heat. Now I know they mention the sauce having paprika in it which you can definitely tell, but I think they might also have some cayenne as well too.
Whatever it is, you do get a slight tickle on your tongue and it actually warms your body up quite nicely just from the sauce. And when you add it all together, it’s a very good tasting sauce.
