Boneless Wings are back at Applebee’s! Yes, you heard that right, for the Summer season the brand is finally bringing back this popular special.
For those who don’t know, Applebee’s has a yearly tradition where they bring out all you can eat boneless. For wing lovers everywhere, this means you can eat as many boneless wings as you possibly can. There is literally no limit.
And it’s not just boneless wings either.
Fans can choose between the options of Boneless Wings, Riblets or also Chicken Tenders. All for the price of around $15.99. This is a great option for those looking to eat more while spending less.
- All You Can Eat Boneless Wings: America’s Favorite Boneless Wings are crispy breaded pieces of tender boneless chicken tossed in your choice of one of six sauces: Classic Buffalo, Honey BBQ, Sweet Asian Chile, Garlic Parmesan, Extra Hot Buffalo, and Honey Pepper. Served with signature coleslaw, endless classic fries, and Bleu cheese or house-made buttermilk ranch dressing.
- All You Can Eat Riblets: An Applebee’s Original! Applebee’s signature riblets are slow cooked and come dripping in either Honey BBQ or sweet Asian Chile sauce. Served with signature coleslaw and endless classic fries.
- All You Can Eat Double Crunch Shrimp: Crispy battered Double Crunch Shrimp are fried golden brown. Served with cocktail sauce, signature coleslaw and endless classic fries.
Now its noted that when you order a round of either of these, it also comes with a side. And you’ll have to finish everything before you can get another round. But seeing as how these are so delicious, I’m sure nobody will have a problem with this.
And yes, customers are able to switch between the option choices after every round if they so desire.
Applebee’s Specials To Know About
From time to time, Applebee’s will usually have some sort of special going on for people to try out.
This time around they are focusing on the All You Can Eat Boneless Wings, Strips and Riblets, but they do have some other interesting things too.
For instance, if customers were to join Club Applebee’s, which is there free membership, then they will be able to get a free appetizer on their next order. Which sounds pretty cool as you can select any appetizer that you want.
Aside from that, nothing else is currently going on.
But if we do see anything else being added, you can rest assured that Food Senpai here will make you all aware of it.
Best Thing At Applebee’s?
Many people seem to wonder exactly what the best items are at Applebee’s. After all, there are an abundance of choices to choose from.
Is it the tenders? Or could it be the pastas?
Well many people seem to like the artichoke dip which in our opinion is actually pretty darn good. But their other items like the bourbon sweet chicken is equally just as good. It’s actually our favorite here as well.
The Bourbon Sweet Chicken is tender and juicy while having that delicious sweet taste. The perfect bite for pairing up with a cold refreshing drink or any appetizers that you may want.
Aside from that, their pastas are pretty good.
For instance, we recommend the Four Cheese Mac and Cheese, which if you love cheese, you will instantly love this version. Pair it up with some chicken and you’ll have a meal fit for a king.
Are They Doing Chicken Wars?
While other restaurant chains are participating in the chicken wars, we haven’t really heard much going on from Applebee’s.
For those who don’t know, the chicken wars is basically a battle from many brands all around to see who has the best fast food chicken.
The most popular being either Popeyes or Chick-Fil-A, which started it all, but many other brands are catching up and trying to get their hands on the title too.
Popeyes actually released their own Chicken Wraps in anticipation for McDonald’s Wraps that are coming out later next month. Not only that, but Taco Bell has also released their own version of the Chicken Wrap being in the form of a taco or a burrito.
Whatever the case may be, it seems like the war for the best chicken in the chicken wars is still continuing. But as for Applebee’s, they don’t seem to be participating as of yet. Maybe time will tell.
What Food Senpai Thinks
We here at Food Senpai think that the All You Can Eat Boneless Wings are a great deal. After all, who doesn’t like eating a ton of boneless wings with some sides.
Although the only thing we are worried about is the wait time between orders. Because we have tried this promotion before and usually the staff would take forever between orders to give us our next round.
And if they do this, it means that you will get full faster and won’t be able to eat as much.
So hopefully things change this time around and you are able to eat a lot more. If so, then this promotion is a total winner and we can’t wait to try it again.
