One of the most beloved West Coast Sandwich chains “TOGO’s Sandwiches”, has just announced they are bringing back a fan favorite being the Pretzelrami Sandwich for this Summer season.
The official date of release is on June 30th, and fans everywhere should be excited as this was one of their most popular sandwiches that they have.
The Pretzelrami Sandwich features premium ingredients, generous portions, as well as bold flavors. The #71 Pretzelrami is made to order and served hot aand melted on a soft, upgraded pretzel roll that is bigger than before. It’s also stacked with a quarter pound of the brand’s world-famous pastrami, which is sliced in-house daily. Also has provolone cheese, tangy yellow mustard, and also crispy dill pickles.
It’s the perfect sandwich to have for this Summer season.
“When our guests ask, we listen – but we also continue to raise the bar.” says CEO of TOGO’s Eateries, Glenn Lunde, “Our guests wanted an even larger and more flavorful pretzel roll so we increased the size by 25% and dialed up the pretzel flavor while keeping the soft texture that makes it the perfect complement to our bold and savory pastrami. It’s a true fan favorite made even better.”

Currently there are four different pastrami sandwiches to choose from:
- Hot Pastrami: Features 1/4th pound of West Coast pastrami and yellow mustard. Served 100% TOGO’s style.
- Pretzelrami: Features 1/4th pound of hot pastrami with melted Provolone cheese, pickles and mustard. Served hot and melty on a soft pretzel roll.
- Pastrami Reuben: Features 1/4th pound of hot pastrami with melted Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and thousand island sauce.
- Pepper Jack Melt: Features 1/4th pound of hot pastrami, pepper jack cheese, sliced pepperoncini and thousand island sauce.
When one thinks about a Pastrami Sandwich, they usually always think about New York City. But TOGO’s Sandwiches, even though they are a West Coast brand, aren’t too far off. In fact, they can even match up with some of the better East Coast Pastrami stores.

In celebration of Happy Gilmore 2 from Netflix, they officially teamed up with Subway to create a meal that showcases all the beloved characters from the show. For instance, when guests purchase a Happy Gilmore Meal, they’ll be able to get a special cup that was drawn by famous sports artist and director Mickey Duzyj, and features:

Not only that but both Netflix and Subway have even created a special place online where guests can enjoy a cool digital experience that was inspired by Happy’s dream world. To enter it, guests will need to scan a special QR code on the meal packaging and will be able to enjoy a variety of benefits and cool perks once inside.

What Food Senpai Thinks
Our company being from Texas, we don’t really have a TOGO’s Sandwich location here in our state. But we did travel to California one time and tried it out for ourselves. It was delicious and we actually think its one of the better sandwich chains around.
While we never tried the new Pretzelrami Sandwich, we do believe it will offer great taste and flavor. And if its anything like their other pastrami items, we think fans everywhere will be delighted to try.
