Halloween is coming up, and you best believe fast food locations from all around are getting ready. That includes Sonic, which is bringing back their popular Trick or Treat Blast for everyone to try.
The Trick or Treat Blasts mixes creamy vanilla or chocolate soft serve with HEATH, M&M’S Minis and OREO Cookie Pieces. It is then topped off with extra treats for a craveable, over-the-top indulgence.
From what we hear, they are only available exclusively through the SONIC App. Starting on September 22 and will be available nationwide from September 29th. As for the price, it’s been noted to have a suggested price of around $6.39 for a Medium.
Also, fans who buy the new Trick or Treat Blast will be supporting a good cause. Through its Limeades for Learning initiative, SONIC donates a portion of all Drink, Slush, Blast, and Shake sales to support public education.
In fact, they have donated more than $30 million since 2009 to fund local classrooms. Making it one of the largest programs supporting public education in the U.S.
Other Items To Try At Sonic
While Sonic doesn’t really have a lot of new items out right now, they do have a few that people can try.
For instance, their Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee is smooth, bold, and refreshingly satisfying. Packed with rich salted caramel and buttery toffee flavors. It’s poured over SONIC’s signature ice, topped with creamy cold foam, and finished with crunchy salted toffee pieces.
Or you can even try their new Salted Caramel Toffee Croissant Bites which has flakey Croissant Bites, fried to a golden brown, then dusted with salted caramel and toffee sugar
Either way, whatever items you try, you simply can’t go wrong with Sonic.
White Castle’s New Slider, Tots and Cheesecake
In other news, White Castle has just debuted a few new items to try.
- BBQ Pulled Pork Slider: Featuring slow roasted pulled pork, smoked with all-natural hickory wood and blended with just the right amount of specially seasoned, sweet BBQ Sauce.
- Triple Cheese Tots: Featuring tater tots covered in cheddar, colby jack and mozzarella cheese.
- Pumpkin Latte Cheesecake: Featuring a rich, creamy cheesecake that is blended with cozy warmth of pumpkin spice and the bold kick of coffee. It’s finished with a graham cracker crust for just the right amount of flavor.
Perfect for this upcoming Fall Season, these new items will definitely have customers up on their feet gleaming with joy.
Culver’s CurderBurger Makes A Return
If you didn’t know, Culver’s has just announced that they are bringing back one of their most beloved items ever. This being the CurderBurger which will finally come back on the menu after a whole year of it being gone.
The CurderBurger which originally started as an April Fools Joke back in 2021, quickly became a sensation with the fans as it offered great taste, great flavor and great satisfaction. It features a Deluxe ButterBurger topped with a crown of golden-fried cheese made of a blend of yellow and white cheddar, breaded and fried to perfection.
It will run from September 29 through October 14 or while supplies last.
Jalapeño Cheese Curds
Additionally, Culver’s is debuting a brand new item to pair with the CurderBurger. Called the Jalapeño Cheese Curds, it is a spicier take on their beloved Cheese Curds.
The Jalapeño Cheese Curds are made with bits of Jalapeño and real cheddar cheese. It’s then fried to gooey, golden perfection. This brings the right amount of heat to balance their crunchy outside and melty center.
Both of these items are one way that Culver’s is paying tribute to the cheese curd during their first ever Curdtoberfest. During this month long time, fans from all over can enjoy Curdtoberfest-themed décor at their local restaurant and enter an online sweepstakes to win free Wisconsin Cheese Curds for a year or other exclusive themed prizes.

With that being said, we here at Food Senpai are always glad to see a new drink being released from Sonic. After all, they have so many great varieties and this new blast sounds to be just as good.
While Halloween Season is a bit early right now. We will definitely see if we can head to our local Sonic to grab one of these drinks. Should we get Vanilla or Chocolate? Hmm, this is a tough choice.
Regardless of which, this is one item we will definitely be trying.
Now we don’t know if we will actually be writing a review for this Trick or Treat Blast. But one thing is for sure, we are excited about it!
