Desserts are always going to be a major component in any fast food restaurants lineup. Which is why, many are always trying to add something new to draw in the crowd. And here at Slim Chickens, they are adding a new seasonal item being the Cherry Cheesecake for everyone to try.
This new item which comes this fall season on September 29th, will join the beloved lineup of jar desserts.
Housed in a signature take-home mason jar, this sweet escape dessert features layers of creamy New York–style cheesecake, tart cherry pie filling, and fluffy whipped topping. It’s a bold new twist on a timeless classic—rich, nostalgic, and just the right amount of indulgent.
According to the brand, the new Cherry Cheesecake flavor will actually replace the outgoing seasonal Strawberry Cheesecake. It will join alongside other jar desserts like the Chocolate Brownie Pudding or the NILLA Banana Pudding.
So if you’re itching to try some sweet treats after those delicious chicken pieces, this might be the item to try.
What To Try At Slim Chickens
Slim Chickens doesn’t often have new items coming to their menu. But the items that they already serve, are actually worth a try.
Now if you never been to a Slim Chickens before, you might be interested in some of their offerings:
- Tender Bites: Featuring 100% all natural chicken tender pieces, buttermilk marinated and made fresh, just like their tenders.
- Wings: Coming in 6, 8 or more pieces, they are 100% all-natural chicken wings that are fried to perfection.
- Tender Mac Bowls: Features their 3-cheese blend of Mac & Cheese with chopped fried tenders, crispy fried onions, scallions, and shredded cheese. You can even get it in the Buffalo version where they add Buffalo Sauce & Cayenne Ranch Sauce.
- Chicken & Waffles: Three fresh, fried tenders over a waffle, served with syrup and butter.

Sonic’s Trick Or Treat Blast
If you’re wanting to try more sweets, then you’ll be happy to know that Sonic has a good option as well. Called the Trick or Treat Blast, it is a seasonal drink that comes every Fall Season.
The Trick or Treat Blasts mixes creamy vanilla or chocolate soft serve with HEATH, M&M’S Minis and OREO Cookie Pieces. It is then topped off with extra treats for a craveable, over-the-top indulgence.
Currently, the Trick or Treat Blast is only available through the SONIC App. However, starting on September 29th, it will be available nationwide. So fans can head to any participating Sonic Drive-Thru location and grab a drink for themselves.
By the way, it’s been noted to have a suggested price of around $6.39 for a Medium.
Yogurtland’s Pumpkin Pie Flavor
Yogurtland has just recently announced they are bringing back the popular Pumpkin Pie Flavor for everyone to try.
This seasonal flavor only comes around during the Fall season each and every year. It is a fan-favorite item that is highly sought after.
And for those wondering, it’s basically a creamy, spiced traditional favorite exploding in pumpkin flavor. And what’s cool about this is that you can add any type of toppings you want to it. Even the Limited Time Churro Donut Bites, which are available starting October 20th. A perfect pairing indeed.
Red Velvet Flavor
Additionally, Yogurtland has also recently released another new flavor too being the Red Velvet Flavor. This new flavor was made in collaboration with the Brand Icon JVKE. This decadent dessert blends creamy pumpkin pie with rich cheesecake in a perfectly spiced swirl—comforting and unforgettable.

With that being said, we here at Food Senpai obviously love our sweets. So we are excited to see a brand like Slim Chickens adding a delicious Cherry Cheesecake Flavor to their menus. Now, we haven’t tried their other jar desserts yet, but we expect it to be delicious.
After all, it’s kind of rare for a big brand like Slim Chickens to mess up a dessert. Even the worst kinds of desserts are still somewhat pretty good.
