K-pop fans unite! Jollibee has just announced that they are teaming up with Mega Group “KATSEYE” to debut a brand new flavor to their menu. The new flavor features Spicy Korean BBQ and is officially out this week for everyone to try.
Jollibee, which is known for their phenomenal fried chicken and spaghetti has been rapidly growing year after year. They were even voted the Number One Fried Chicken chain in fast food earlier this year.
And now, they have teamed up with KATSEYE to introduce the new Spicy Korean BBQ Flavors for their chicken. The new creation features a bold fusion of sweet and savory flavors with a spicy kick.
Currently, there are two new items that fans can try:
- KATSEYE Special Korean BBQ Chicken Sandwich: Features a toasted brioche bun and topped with fresh cucumber slices, thinly sliced red onion and cilantro, and has the brands signature chicken covered in a soy glaze and gochujang sauce.
- Korean BBQ Chicken: For those wanting the bone-in versions, the KATSEYE Special Korean BBQ Fried Chicken also offers the same signature crispy and juicy fried chicken that the brand is known for covered in the delicious Korean BBQ Sauce.
Earlier in August, both Jollibee and KATSEYE has teamed up to debut some stylish merch. And to nobody’s surprise, it has sold out in less than three hours. Which is why the new Spicy Korean BBQ flavor items that were just released is hoping to also bring the fun and flavor that their followers deserve.
Things To Try At Jollibee
Asides from the new KATSEYE collab, Jollibee also offers a ton of different items that fans will love.
Fried Chicken
The icon of Jollibee that started it all. The fried chicken here is literally one of the best you can ever find at any fast food restaurant. Offered in both regular and spicy versions. It offers a bold flavor that is crisp, savory and an excitement with each bite.
Fans are able to get the chicken a la carte. Or if they want, they can even get it in buckets or even a combo size.
Jolly Spaghetti
Not many fast food chains offers spaghetti on their menu. In fact, we can’t even think of any other place that does it. However, Jollibee has it on their menu because spaghetti is actually a really popular dish in the Philippines. Which is why they want the world to try out their delicious flavors.
And unlike the spaghetti you’re use to in the states, the Jollibee version is actually quite different. The spaghetti they serve is actually on the sweeter side so you get both sweet and savory notes. And there are also mini hot dog pieces inside as well.
Jollibee Pies
One of the best things about Jollibee asides from the fried chicken is actually the pies! The most famous one being the peach mango pie, but depending on the season and when you go, you might even run into some seasonal or special pies too.
For instance, right now you can go to any participating location and find the seasonal “Ube Pie”. And once you try the pies, you’ll literally be wanting more and more. Crispy, flaky and filled to the brim with delicious feeling. It’s such a delight to have.

And this is the famous McDonald’s!
Yes, you heard that right! They are currently teaming up with the popular boy band “BTS”, where they are offering Happy Meals where you can get one of the seven members of the group.
Each Happy Meal toy is going to be random, so if you are trying to collect them all, you might have to buy a few but it’s going to be worth it. Each happy meal comes with a classic McDonald’s Burger, Kids Fries, Apple Slices and also a Milk.
But as for the toy, you’ll be able to get one of the following members at random: RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V or Jung Kook, dressed in their Throwback Edition or Encore Edition styles.

We here at Food Senpai are huge fans of Jollibee and we are also huge fans of KATSEYE as well. So seeing this collab is right up our alley.
After all, their fried chicken is already one of the best there is, so seeing it being covered in a delicious Spicy Korean BBQ Sauce definitely peaks our interest. You best believe we are going to be going to our nearest Jollibee as soon as possible to try it out.
